NV Agro Vandelanotte
Robbe Industries NV has installed a bigbag filling installation at NV Agro Vandelanotte, a company specializing in drying bulk products. One is in the process of company expansion and for a new type of product they want to bag dried flakes in big bags as soon as possible.
Together with the customer, Robbe Industries analyzed which type of bigbag filling station was best suited for this application. As an additional challenge, the filling machine will be located in an explosion hazard environment, i.e. ATEX Zone22.
In addition, there was the need to vibrate during weighing and completely lift the bigbag. This results in very tightly filled big bags, which stand firmly and stably on pallets. Thus, the filled big bags can be properly manipulated with forklifts during further transportation.
To make the operator’s work more ergonomic , the
machine equipped with a height-adjustable frame and the suspension hooks
of the big bags come forward fully automatically when hanging the empty
bigbag. After pressing the start button, the machine handles filling the bigbag
completely yourself. Once the bigbag is ready, it can be used via the integrated
roller conveyor are advanced to the decrease roller conveyor.
In a minimum of time, the silo can be so transferred into big bags, ready for transport to the end customer !
The control is done with a Siemens S7-1200 PLC and was done entirely by Robbe Industries. Through an intuitive and user-friendly touchscreen program (HMI), the machine can be operated smoothly.
The bigbag filling system was calibrated by Robbe Industries as AWI Dispenser R61 X(1).
